Silver Line Fare Evasion & Fines

All persons that occupy, ride in, or use a public transportation vehicle must possess proof of fare payment, as well as necessary identification for specific fare uses, and shall present such proof upon the request of a fare enforcement officer.

The Rapid takes fare evasion seriously. Random fare checks by fare enforcement officers will be performed to ensure all riders have paid for their trips.

• First repeat offense: $130.00
• Second (or subsequent) repeat offense: $250.00
